Splotchwear Team

(Ken Griffin, Peg O’Hara, Chris Griffin)

The story of Splotchwear goes back over 40 years when two friends in high school used to doodle simple stick figures on each other’s notebooks. One pursued art and teaching while the other became a screen printer, owning his own business. Thus began the journey of Splotchwear began.

The two friends spent many years contemplating putting their designs out there for the world to enjoy. When the screenprinter created a business with his brother, that dream started to become a reality. The artist has since tranformed her stick figures into ink blot figures. The simplicity of the stick figure is retained in a splotch of ink, and influenced by many artists including DaVinci, Picasso, Warhol, and of course, Rorschach!

Ink blot designs transcend all generations and periods of art. Splotchwear’s designs draw on a love of the water and passion for outdoor activities.
